- 8 ripe nectarines
- 8 tsp. Jakobsens Sunflower honey
- 1 vanilla pod (seeds)
1. Cut the nectarines into halfs and remove the stones. Put the nectarines on the grill with the cut surface facing down. Grill them for about 3 min. or until they are golden and have grill stripes.
2. Remove from the grill and add honey and vanilla seeds. But them back on the grill with the filling facing upwards and grill for about 4 min. or until warm (the nectarines taste better well-done than cold). Serve immediately.
Serve with vanilla icecream or cream cheese.
The fruit has to be ripe for a successful result. You can also make the dish with other ripe fruits, such as pineapple, mango or pear. And you can use a grill pan instead of a garden grill.
