Tip: Slice the cake and serve with cold butter.
- 1 dark beer
- 200 g brown sugar
- 300 g Jakobsens Danish honey
- 1 egg
- 500 g flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. grounded clove
- 2 tsp. baking soda
1. Whisk beer, sugar, Jakobsens honey and egg into an even mass.
2. Then sift flour, cinnamon, baking soda and clove into the mixture and stir well.
3. Pour it into a buttered bread form and put in a cold oven and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes at 175 degrees.
When the cake is done, take it out of the form and cool on a grate.
